Manas Resources Projects
Manas will acquire a 100% interest, and one joint venture interest, in several gold and mineral projects in the Central Asian Kyrgyz Republic through a sale and purchase agreement with Perseus Mining Ltd.
Exploration by Perseus in the Kyrgyz Republic since 2004 has resulted in two gold discoveries with almost 500,000 resource ounces of gold from one deposit and numerous other prospects to be followed up.
After the discovery of Carlin-style gold mineralisation on its Tolubay licence Perseus built up its holdings in the south of the Kyrgyz Republic to approximately 4,800 sq km by acquiring ground covering the same geological units and prospective contact zones.
Upon listing, Manas will be one of the largest explorers for precious metals in the Kyrgyz Republic, with a strong focus on the highly prospective south-west.
